Why Pursue God?

There are many reasons, and you’ve probably heard most of them. The best answer I know is, “Why Not?” You have everything to gain, and nothing to lose, really.
Think about it this way and consider two propositions.

1st
I’m just a body that will die.
or
I’m a body with a soul and spirit. When my body dies, my spirit lives on for eternity.

2nd
God doesn’t exist and when I die, it’s just over. I live my life now at risk every day from violence, disease, hatred, and dishonesty.
or
God does exist and when I die, I have a new life throughout eternity. I live my life on Earth with the same risks, the difference is, that His Spirit walks with me and covers me with a joy and peace that surpasses human understanding.

Don’t believe me, ask anyone who truly knows Him. But to die without Him means losing everything and spending eternity in darkness with no chance for it ever to change.
